Bollywood divas Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif are contenders to become the next Bollywood superstars to have their wax figure at Madame Tussauds, London in 2015.
The museum is asking fans to vote for their favourite star online.
It states on its website: “Our world famous sculptors have worked closely with the Indian film industry over the last decade, and we now have a stellar line-up of six permanent wax figures in a specially created Bollywood area – one of the most popular in the attraction. Now it’s time for the next star to add to the line-up. So, after gathering research and requests from visitors over the past two years, the shortlisted options are: Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif… The decision is yours…”
The winning actor will join statues of Bollywood icons Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan on a colourful themed set at the wax museum – alongside models including those of Barack Obama, Prince William and Duchess Catherine, George Clooney, Nelson Mandela and Michael Jackson.
